Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and MineOps (“we”, “us”) for the use of mineopsdash.com, the MineOps agent and the related services (the “service”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use MineOps for an organization, you accept them on its behalf and confirm that you may.

The service

MineOps lets you monitor and operate Minecraft servers you control, through an agent you install on your own machines. You decide, in the agent's configuration and in your organization's settings, what the service may do on each machine. Your servers, worlds and backups stay on your machines; we keep the information described in the Privacy Policy.

Your account and organizations

  • You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age to use online services where you live, and give a real email address you can receive mail at.
  • Keep your password and sign-in codes secret, and turn on two-step sign-in for accounts that can change servers. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Owners are responsible for the people they invite and for the roles and permissions they grant. Members act within the organization they were invited to.

Plans, trials and payment

  • New organizations get a 14-day trial of the Network plan; no card is needed. When it ends without a paid plan, the Free plan's limits apply.
  • Prices are listed on the pricing page in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
  • Paid plans renew automatically at the monthly or yearly interval you chose, until cancelled. You can cancel or change plans at any time in the billing portal. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; changing plans is prorated by Stripe.
  • Payments are not refunded for partial periods, except where the law requires it. If you believe you were charged by mistake, write to [email protected] within 30 days and we will make it right.
  • If a payment fails, the plan stays active for a 14-day grace period; after that, the Free plan's limits apply. We never delete your data because of a failed payment or a lower plan: you only cannot add more than the plan allows.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; a change applies from your next renewal.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to:

  • access, control or test machines you are not authorized to operate;
  • attack, overload or disrupt the service, other customers or anyone else, or try to get around its limits or security;
  • store or distribute malware, or content that is unlawful or infringes others' rights;
  • break the law, the Minecraft EULA or Mojang's usage rules.

We may suspend an account or organization that breaks these rules or puts the service or others at risk, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

Your content and data

You keep all rights to your servers, worlds, configuration and data. You give us only the permission needed to run the service for you: storing, processing and showing that data to your organization as the service describes. If you run servers for players, you are responsible for telling them what your servers record, such as player names and play times.

Availability and changes

We work to keep MineOps available and secure, but the service is provided “as is” and may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or by events outside our control. Live status is published on the system status page. We may improve or change features; if we remove something you pay for, we will tell you in advance.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Keep your own backups: MineOps makes backups on your machines, but you remain responsible for keeping copies of data you cannot lose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the service

You can export your organization's data and delete it, or delete your account, at any time. Deleted organizations are removed after a 30-day grace period. We may end the service with at least 30 days' notice; paid time that has not been used is then refunded.

Changes to these terms

We will post changes here with a new effective date and, for important changes, email account owners at least 14 days before they apply. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules; this does not take away protections the law of your country gives you. Questions: [email protected].
